Do you live in a small space? I sure do!

My kitchen has limited counter space and storage. However, this has not stopped me from cooking my heart out!

It can be frustrating at times, but with a bit of strategizing, cooking in a tiny kitchen is possible.

Quality, healthy home cooking should be accessible to everyone – no matter the size of the kitchen.

Here are a few tips that I hope can be helpful

Tiny Kitchen Tips

  1. Invest in compact multifunctional  kitchen equipment
    • Here is a hand blender, food processor, and electric whisk in one
      • I personally own this device. I keep the hand-held device plugged in near my toaster. I keep the accessories in a cupboard or in an office organizer. Yes, I have an office organizer in my kitchen. This device is easy to dismantle, wash and store.

    • Here is a variety of graters, mandeline, and plastic container in one. All pieces are compact and stored within themselves.
      • Why get a bulky big grater and slice your hand off? This set has grips and a handle for safe slicing and grating. Plus, it’s super easy to store.

2. Stay Organized

    • Organize spices and baking ingredients in plastic bins. It’s easier to just pull down the bin from a shelf rather than pushing through random bottles. These can be purchased in the dollar store or online

    • Use office organizers as kitchen organizers. Have an extra binder organizer? Put your rolls of foil and and kitchen stuff in it. Mine is on top of my toaster oven. THese can also be purchased at the dollar store or online.

3. Get Creative

    • Store oven safe items such as sheet pans or pyrex casserole dishes in your oven. I recommend only oven safe because you don’t want to pre-heat your oven and forget a plastic container in there!

    • Get a Magnetic Paper Towel Holder to stick to the side of your fridge This saves counter top space and can be easily purchased online
